What is "A Tribute to Gary L."?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First of all: Its a tribute to one of the greatest cartoonist on this planet.
The use of his artwork in this technology demo shouldn't be seen as act of
piracy! I know I have had any permissions for using the pics and I apologize
for using it.

This program will demonstrate the TTArchive feature in combination with
the TTPack Technology which is part of the TIGCC Tools Suite.

This demo features 15 pictures (including the logo) which will take up
60kB (61440 Bytes) in uncompressed state.
TTPack is used to pack them to 35,10 KB (35946 Bytes) and TTArchive is used
to stuff the compressed pics into a single variable of type ".tta"
(you can see the extension on the VAR-LINK screen).

If you examine the compression ratios of gary.89y and gary.9xy within WinZip
you will see that Winzip cannot really further compress them. The 2 percent
additional compression are caused mainly be the ttarchive header which is
not compressed by TTPack.

If the above stuff is to technical to you, don't bother. Just enjoy the
cartoons!
